Hey guys and girls,

Feeling a bit tired today.
Tuesday I'll be going to a concert of Red, really excited about it. For today I got "After lifeless years", great song quite relaxing one, with some great guitar work and drumming. Vocals change from screaming to clean. Just a nice and simple relaxing song I think.

Oh, Sleeper - Endseekers

Hello guys and girls,

First of all, happy Easter everyone !

I thought I'd do a song by a Christian band, since it is Easter today.
Oh, Sleeper is the band called, not the best name for a band in my opinion, but hey they make good music. A lot of screaming in the song, with a few clean vocals at some parts, not too striking guitars or drums just the regular stuff. Not their best song, but this one had a video clip and I couldn't be bothered with just showing you guys a lyrics only video or just a couple of random pictures.
If you want to hear more of them, you should listen to the song "Children of Fire" and well, the album is named the same. Haven't got a lot to say at the moment, just doing a quick post.

Strung Out - Calling

Hello guys and girls,
It's been a while since I posted anything, got a busy 3 weeks ahead !

This intro is really amazing, one of the best intros I know.
So.. yeah I first of this song thanks to the amazing game Guitar Hero, I think it's freaking impossible to play ( I'm bad ).
What amazed me in the video is how the two guitarist play on 3:25, I mean, what the heck, isn't it hard enough to play it normally ? Maybe I should pick up a guitar one day and try to get the hang of it and maybe one day I'll be able to play like this.

But about the song, good speed, great vocals, great drums, great guitars of course and the bass sounds great as well.
Altogether this is definitely in my top 10.

Victor King - Someone Like You

No, not Adele. I knew you thought that ! It's from a guy called Victor King together with Andy Lange, this song is called Someone Like You, but he covered it.

He is a member of YTF, a group of singers/entertainers/comedians. He's also a member of the dance group Quest Crew, winner's of the 3rd season of America's Best Dance Crew.

I thought I'd do something different today, a nice calm song for the start of spring !

Buckethead - Soothsayer

Hello guys,
It's been a while since I wrote something about a song, had a busy week behind me so let's start with a guitar masterwork by Buckethead. After the 2.5 minute intro, this man shows you how you can play the guitar like a pro. Six minutes of intense playing. Everyone can say Slash is the best guitarist in the world, but I think Buckethead puts more feelings in his songs, like "I Love My Parents" or "Electric Tears", such emotional songs, but this song shows he can work the guitar like no else can.
One of my all time favorite songs this is.

Unearth - Grave of Opportunity

So today, with the sun shining bright here in Holland. Spring is on it's way !
I play this song on Guitar Hero regularly, even though I'm not that good at it, I enjoy this song the most because of it's guitar and drums, very well balanced and the sound of them are amazing. The singer I don't like as much..
Very inspire-less today.. haven't got a lot to say about this song other than the guitar is brilliantly played in it.

Sonic Syndicate - Denied

Today I thought I'd share this song with you, Denied by Sonic Syndicate.
A nice and speedy song with a good singer and a screamer, but what I like the most about this band is the bassist, she's hot. Karin Axelsson is her name.
But this is a good song, especially when I'm gaming, playing shooters or racegames, makes you a bit more fanatic about the game.

Apocalyptica ft Lauri Ylönen - Life Burns

To start of, this band is really one of a kind 3 cello players who started covering Metallica songs, who would have thought 3 cello players would make metal ? Then they also recruited a drummer and they have a lot of guest singers i.e. Ville Valo(HIM) great song with him is Bittersweet also featuring Lauri Ylönen(The Rasmus). This is one of my favorite songs by them, featuring a singer. But almost every song they've made is just great, which is actually quite an understatement. Perfect is the best word for these guys. Finland is the country where the best musicians come from in my opinion.

Here Comes the Kraken - 3.33 AM

A song of their newest album named Hate, Greed and Death. To be honest, I think the music they make now is a lot better than the previous album. The vocals are better now, drums and guitar are still a bit the same, except the drums has slowed a bit down. When I first saw this clip I really liked how they've made it with just simple texts, on a blurry background perfect way of making a clip for youtube, especially if it isn't the single of your upcoming album, more bands should do this in my opinion.

Red - Feed the machine

First we have a two-minute intro on the video, just skip ahead to about 2 minutes. What I really like about this song are the clean vocals followed by the screams. Also I will be seeing this band live in about a month and a half, 17th of april. This is actually the first song I've heard from them. My friends asked me to go to their concert so I thought, why not. Good choice I hope. This song was quite good, I certainly hope they will be perform this as good live.

Linkin Park - My December

Another beautiful song. It's the first song I've heard of them, and I still like it after all these years. It's a shame they started making shitty commercial music, the last good song they made was from the album Minutes to Midnight, Bleed it out, it was kind of the only good song on that album. Meteora and Hybrid Theory are amazing albums.

August Burns Red - Internal Cannon

"This song is music to my ears" a quote from the song, the guitar solos in this song made me fall in love with this song. It has been quite a while that I've listened to a song repeatedly without getting bored of it, but this song doesn't get boring at all to me.

Also I posted this song because I will be seeing them live in 4 months, can't wait !

Buckethead

One of my favorite guitarists.
I don't think this song needs any explaining, just close your eyes and enjoy, remember the all the great times you had in your life.

Divine Heresy - Facebreaker

Currently one of my favorite songs, the drums are just amazing. Tim Young is the drummers' name.
The song has a very intense intro which I like a lot. Intense drumming, guitar, and vocal it's just a perfect symphony of metal.
